Problems Signing in to your Cezanne HR account

Your company has a legal obligation to keep your personal information safe. That means that your company will have set up a secure password policy, either using Single Sign-On, or by taking advantage of Cezanne HR's embedded security.

If your company has implemented Single Sign-On (e.g. you sign in using the same credentials as your corporate e-mail service or other application) you will need to contact your IT team to get your password reset.

I've forgotten my Cezanne password. How do I reset it?

If you select the "Forgotten your password" option before you are locked out, the system will send you an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password. This e-mail may go to your junk e-mail folder, so please remember to check (and to add the address to your Safe Sender list).

Why am I locked out?

To prevent an attacker using brute force mechanisms to access your account, which may contain personally identifiable information, we lock your account after 3 failed login attempts and automatically send you an e-mail to reset your password. Therefore, the most likely reason is that you (or someone else) have tried to log in to your account using the wrong credentials 3 or more times.

What should I do when locked out?

If you have been locked out:

  • Check your e-mail for the Reset Password e-mail which should have automatically been sent to you.
  • Click on the link in the e-mail and create a new password.
  • Once you have reset your password, you will be able to log in and access your Cezanne account as normal.

Note:

  • Remember, when creating a new password, your HR System Administrator will normally have implemented a strong password requirement. This means you will need to include a combination of letters, numbers and symbols, and also enter a minimum number of characters.
  • Please contact your Administrator to confirm your specific company requirements and password policies.
