Formatting Style

The Formatting Style option can be used to format dates and numbers independently of language.

For example, a native Spanish speaker working in a US company may want to have the system translated into Spanish, but see dates and numbers formatted according to US conventions.

  • A Company Default Formatting Style may be set by your HR team. However, you can override the default Formatting Style on your Personal Settings screen.
  • If no Company Default is entered, 'Based on Language' will be the default.
