Appraisals Reviews
Appraisals are formal, often annually based performance reviews that allow employees and their reviewers to answer questions, comment and score performance over a period of time. Depending on your system configuration, you can edit and review your own appraisals or any appraisals you are the reviewer for.
This article explains how to complete the review.
When you have an Appraisal Review to complete, you will receive the following:
Task
This section demonstrates how to complete an appraisal section by section as an employee or as a reviewer. Depending on your system configuration, you may not have all of these sections or have permission to edit every one:
Use the Objectives section to Review past performance objectives and/or view or plan this year's objectives. Depending on your system configuration, you may be able to view and/or edit the following sections:
- Objectives Review - is used to review and score items from a previous form's Objectives Planning section.
- Objectives Planning - is used to enter some objectives on one appraisal form which will be reviewed and scored in an Objectives Review section on a future appraisal form.
A Competency Ratings section enables participants to score a list of competencies (normally predefined and fixed) using radio buttons, whereas, a Job Competency Profile Ratings section enables participants to score a list based on your Job Deployment.
A Question and Answer section on an appraisal form enables a list of questions to be created that employees must answer as part of the process. The answers can be a text field or multiple choice.
Once all the sections are completed, click Submit Request at the top of the page to send the review to the next participant.
