A
- Absence Status [+]
The following absence statuses are used in Cezanne:
Draft | An absence which has not yet been submitted for approval and is still in your Tasks inbox. |
Approval Pending | An absence which has been submitted for approval but has not yet been approved / declined by your supervisor. |
Approved | An absence which has been approved by your supervisor. |
Declined | An absence which has been declined by your supervisor. |
Deleting | An absence which you have requested to be deleted but the request has not yet been approved / declined by your supervisor. |
Deleted | An absence which you have requested to be deleted and the request has been approved by your supervisor (this is not a physical delete). |
*Generally absences with a status of Draft, Approval Pending, Approved or Deleting are included in calculations, notifications and calendars. However, absences with a status of Declined or Deleted are not. |
- AML [+]
Additional Maternity Leave - The last 26 weeks of Statutory Maternity Leave.
B
- Bank Window [+]
Transactions processed after the cut-off time of the bank window will be included in the next working day's trading.
- BIC / Swift Code [+]
A BIC (Business Identifier Code) is a unique identifer for a specific business, most commonly a bank.
A SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) code is a bank identifier code that helps overseas banks identify which bank to send payments to.

- EWC [+]
Expected Week of Confinement - This is the Sunday at the start of the week the baby is due.
H
- Higher SMP [+]
The first 6 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP).
I
- IBAN [+]
IBAN(International Bank Account Number) is used when making or receiving international payments.
K
- KIT Days [+]
Keeping in Touch days. The number of days you are allowed to work during your maternity, adoption or additional paternity leave.
O
- OML [+]
Ordinary Maternity Leave - The first 26 weeks of Statutory Maternity Leave.
R
- Roll Number [+]
Whilst most standard UK bank accounts have an 8 digit account number and 6 digit sort code, some Building Society accounts may also have what's referred to as a 'building society roll number' or just a 'roll number' - a reference code with letters and numbers.
- Rolling Year [+]
The previous 12 months up to and including today. For example, on the 5th July 2016, the Rolling Year period would be 6th July 2015 – 5th July 2016.
S
- SML [+]
Statutory Maternity Leave - 52 weeks which is made up of OML (the first 26 weeks) and AML (the last 26 weeks).
- SMP [+]
Statutory Maternity Pay - Paid for up to 39 weeks.
- Subordinate [+]
An employee who reports to a supervisor/manager. For example, you are a subordinate of your supervisor.
T
- Two-step Verification [+]
Two-step verification adds an extra layer of security to your account on top of your username and password. In Cezanne, two-step verification works by using something you know (your Cezanne password) and something you have (your mobile device or e-mail) as two means of identification.
